If you’ve got little ones at home and are itching for a reason to get out and socialize while keeping the kids happy, KW Moms Club meets every Tuesday morning from 10 to 12 at the Victoria Park Splash Pad.
AVIATION FUN DAY

A free event for the family to learn how the aviation industry works, get up close to the airport equipment, vintage aircrafts and classic cars. They have requested that visitors kindly bring a non-perishable food item or a cash donation in support of the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region – a small price to pay for a day of fun and education.

Waterloo Brewing is celebrating 35 years as Ontario’s First Craft Brewer and they have invited all of us to join the party. Tickets are $20 and they include five beer samples (SOLD!), limited edition swag and a ticket to Oktoberfest KoolHaus at Bingemans. On top of all that greatness? Brewhouse tours, live music, food trucks, axe throwing, giant garden games and a radler bar with cocktails and slushies. Sounds like the perfect Summer afternoon to us.

So, MC Hammer is on his first major tour since 1991 and it’s coming to KW! He’s bringing together some of the most recognizable hip-hop and R&B acts from the 80s and 90s to one stage and we are PUMPED. Hammer pants are coming out, folks.
