The only constant in life is change. Whether changes come by design (in your control) or through circumstance (out of your control) this is a universal truth that you can either embrace or battle. Good times won’t always stay good, and bad times won’t always stay bad but change is inevitable. The lesson of the year in retrospect has been about how to adapt but also maintain your core identity – what makes you unique and gets you up in the morning instead of keeping you awake at night.
Last year I put a lot of work into defining what New Moon Ideas stands for, what we do and how we do it. There is a much better understanding of strengths, things we can’t do and things we won’t do. Over the course of the year, that hard work paid off as a beacon of clarity during those moments of change. New opportunities and challenges across every aspect of the business were more easily categorized to move forward in a way that maintains the personality and zest that make New Moon Ideas special. Some tough decisions were made to prioritize, augment, partner or pass on things that affect how we grow. I’m proud of the courage it took to stand behind those moves and the results that followed have me feeling even more confident in the direction we’re heading.
It’s been a tremendous year of accomplishments, growth and learning. New Moon Ideas will continue to represent fresh, exciting and thoughtful experiences. Time will always be made to work hard and play hard. On this three year anniversary I’m taking this moment to pause, celebrate and say thank you to all of our clients, partners, friends and supporters who have believed in this company’s philosophy and continue to fuel our passions.
Looking forward to an exciting 2017!
